Commercial Guar gum derived from the seed of this 3' legume from India. Young pods may be eaten as a vegetable. Often used as a drought resistant forage crop. The guar beans are harvested in 14-16 weeks. It is extremely drought resistant and thrives in semiarid regions where most plants perish.
Growing Instructions & Tips: Plant at a depth of 3/4" using very porous soil such as 65% soil mixture with 35% coarse sand added to it. Water sparingly when quite dry. Requires constant warmt and full sun. Do not keep wet.
